Estelle Gallaher Rawls
Estelle Gallaher Rawls died Saturday, December 2, 2006, at Hospice House at the age of ninety-eight. A native and lifelong resident of Savannah, Mrs. Rawls was a member of Independent Presbyterian Church where she taught Kindergarten for almost twenty-five years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis M. Rawls.
Survivors include her son, Louis M. Rawls, Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Susan C. Rawls; her grandsons, Louis M. Rawls, III and his wife, Laura, and Edward C. Rawls and his wife, Meredith; and her great-granddaughter, Caroline Rawls; all of Atlanta.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park Mausoleum, with the Rev. Dr. Stephen C. Williams officiating.
